Nothing says “back-to-school” time like a “new-to-you” pair of jeans.?

The Willits Kids Club, with help from Heart Rock Ranch, will host a back-to-school children”s clothing swap on Saturday, August 27, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Kids Club, next door to Blosser Lane Elementary School.?The club is reached by entering the Blosser Lane school parking lot and following the driveway around to the back.

Donations of children”s clothing will be accepted at the Kids Club the week prior to the swap, August 23 through 26, every day after school until 6 p.m. Donated clothes should be clean and in good condition, in sizes that would fit children entering kindergarten through the eighth grade.

No socks or underclothing will be accepted for swapping, but all other kinds of boys and girls clothing–including pants, shirts, sweaters, sweatshirts, jackets, etc.–are welcomed.

Families can come to the Kids Club on August 27 between 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. to pick out school clothes that fit.?There is no charge for the clothes swap; the success of the swap will completely depend on the quantity and quality of donations received.

Families need not donate clothes in order to pick out clothes, and families may donate clothes even if they do not plan to pick out any clothes to take with them.
