Staff
Many of the staff of Willits Kids Club have been with the Club for a long time—up to 10 years or even longer! Our staff members come from diverse backgrounds. Many have worked with children in education as classroom aides and continue to work in the schools and many are bilingual. We are especially proud to have a number of Kids Club “alumni” working in the after school program.

Gerardo “Gerry” Gonzalez, President
Gerry is the former Chief of Police of Willits and a former trustee of the Willits Unified School District. -
Bruce Yoxall
Bruce Yoxall
Bruce is a retired teacher, math team coach, BITSA mentor, high school/middle school soccer, swimming, and softball coach, and soccer referee. -
Pat Yoxall
Pat Yoxall, Treasurer
Pat is a retired executive assistant and medical transcriptionist, and also currently serves on the Willits Daily Bread board of directors. -
Cyndi Pfingsten
Cyndi is currently a TK teacher at Brookside School. She has been a teacher there for 27 Years. In the past she has acted as a liaison between the Willits Kids Club and Brookside School. She has a kindergartner that loves going to Kids Club.

Davey Bowles
Davey and his family have lived in Willits for 10 years. His children have been part of the Willits Kids Club after school program as well as summer camp for those 10 years. Currently he works for the City of Willits in the Building office.

Bianca Nieto
Bianca is the administrative manager at North Coast Opportunities. Her goal is to support Spanish-speaking families in her community, and she also serves on the Board of Directors of Nuestra Alianza de Willits.

Tracie Mello
Tracie has lived in Willits for about 33 years and worked for Willits Unified School District for about 15 years. She is currently teaching at Eagle Peak Middle School. She and her husband raised their family here in Willits.
I have been working at kids club for 5 years now! What I enjoy most about working at kids club is being exposed to the wide variety of personalities. I love being able to work with great people in a safe, fun environment There’s never a dull moment in this line of work. 
I have been working with kids club for 16 years and it’s been great to watch our community grow up and learn. 
This is my 7th year at kids club and I love working with the staff and students. Everyday is an adventure! 
I have worked with kids club for 8 years now! What I love most about this job is having such amazing co-workers that are like family! 
I have worked with kids club for 1 year and 2 months. Being in this line means crafting with the students and getting to know all the children. 
I have been with kids club for 16+ years! Everyone around knows me as Mama Leti! I love working with the kids and building relationships in a positive way. 
I am new to working with kids club, but I have really enjoyed reminiscing with previous students of mine. It’s be a joy to seeing them grow and navigate through middle school. 
I am new to kids club and only been a short while, but I love being around the children and working with wonderful people!
